dormakaba has unveiled its training portal

Global security group dormakaba has unveiled its training portal that will provide partners with the technical resources required to optimise client implementations. It will also keep site visitors up-to-date with the latest product innovation ensuring their skills remain relevant in the evolving technology landscape.

“Through the training portal, dormakaba is delivering a wealth of knowledge that lets visitors get the most out of its products and solutions,” said Travis Wentzel, Marketing Manager: SSA (Sub-Sahara Africa) at dormakaba South Africa.

“The site focuses on technical training across all levels from beginner to expert. With a blend of e-learning modules and instructor-led classroom training, the services can be delivered for both external and internal audiences.”

The training modules are divided into several main product categories that include electronic access and data; mechanical key systems; entrance systems; door hardware; and interior glass systems. Each module has a wealth of training elements that are customisable to partner requirements.

“Whether it is classroom training that takes place on-site or e-learning that can happen from the convenience of the customer’s office anywhere in the world, the dormakaba platform caters for any requirement,” added Wentzel.

“There is also a host of how-to videos loaded on the portal that provide step-by-step instructions with subtitles and explanations that clearly unpack the concepts and show how to implement the solutions in real-world environments.

“We provide users with learning paths to different certifications and even give the opportunity to embark on a ‘train-the-trainer’ model. Everything on the dormakaba training portal is geared towards empowering visitors with the knowledge and skills required to take the solutions to the next level and ensure they are implemented as optimally as possible.”
