Irdeto and Clavister to bring enhanced security to the connected transport industry

Irdeto, a world leader in digital platform cybersecurity and Clavister, a leading provider of high-performance cybersecurity solutions, has announced a new partnership between the two industry pioneers.

Irdeto’s connected transport business will partner with Clavister to combine Clavister’s Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) solution and AI engine for zero-day vulnerabilities with Irdeto’s Asset Protection capabilities. The collaboration will enable end customers to monitor and manage their connected fleet securely and remotely while delivering world-class digital customer experiences.

Clavister has long been securing transport infrastructure and critical applications as part of its public sector focus and working with long-term partners. Irdeto’s long heritage and global footprint across multiple transport segments, such as automotive, rail and construction, brings a unique combination of skills and knowledge to extend both parties’ security offering further. The new partnership will also bring tangible benefits to customers of both parties by providing comprehensive network protection.

Clavister’s NGFW provides unrivalled protection of an asset’s internal networks, as well as mitigating cyberthreats from external sources. The Clavister technology furthermore protects any OT network against zero-day attacks. Irdeto Asset Protection comprises of Irdeto’s Anomaly Detection System (ADS) that detects and notifies of anomalies in various types of onboard networks. The system notifies its users of emerging and ongoing cybersecurity threats within the vehicles that it monitors. In addition, Device Management System allows for remote inventory, diagnosis, configuration and updating of the solution and the underlying software platform.
