About the Speakers
Since early product inception in 2006, Lee Klarich has served as the head of product management at Palo Alto Networks, overseeing the product strategy and roadmap and playing a key role in delivering our Next-Generation Security Platform. In August 2017, he became chief product officer with responsibility for both engineering and product management for the company. Prior to Palo Alto Networks, he was the director of product management for Juniper Networks, where he was responsible for firewall/VPN platforms and software. He joined Juniper Networks through the NetScreen Technologies acquisition, where he managed the same product line. Previously, he held various positions at Excite@Home and Packard Bell-NEC. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Cornell University.
Gonen is a cybersecurity executive with over 25 years of entrepreneurial and leadership experience in building teams, technologies, and products from inception to multi-billion dollar markets. As SVP Products in Palo Alto Networks (PANW), he initiated and led the creation of Cortex XDR, the product that defined the XDR security category, positioned Palo Alto Networks as a category leader and became a key anchor of the company’s $1B Cloud and AI Security business.
Prior to that, he was the CEO of LightCyber, pioneering the Network Detection and Response (NDR/NTA) market that was acquired by Palo Alto Networks. He started his career as one of the first five employees of Check Point Software and served as the company’s Chief Architect, VP Products and VP Strategy. In between, he founded and was the CEO of Pythagoras Solar, a building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) company that invented and manufactured a revolutionary energy generating transparent window.
