Dubai Electronic Security Center and Microsoft have co-developed a Zero Trust assurance dashboard providing continuous visibility into how government entities are performing against Dubai’s Information Security Regulation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) and Microsoft have developed a cybersecurity dashboard providing DESC with a real-time view of the security posture of Dubai Government entities.<\/p>\n\n\n

Announced at GISEC Global 2026, the purpose-built Zero Trust assurance dashboard is designed to replace reliance on periodic, self-reported assessments with continuously updated evidence showing how participating entities are performing against the Dubai Information Security Regulation (ISR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DESC maintains the Dubai ISR, which establishes minimum information security requirements for Dubai Government entities across 13 domains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dashboard uses Microsoft security signals already generated by participating entities and maps them against relevant ISR controls. Information covered includes risky identities, Multi-Factor Authentication, Conditional Access, privileged access, device compliance, active security incidents and vulnerabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It incorporates 37 types of security finding, with each providing government IT teams with information explaining the issue, its significance, where it can be verified and the steps required to address it. Guidance can be exported in Arabic and English.<\/p>\n\n\n

Following a pilot phase, two Dubai Government entities have been onboarded, with the dashboard now being rolled out to more than 80 additional entities across the Emirate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project builds on existing cybersecurity collaboration between DESC and Microsoft.
