Bitdefender tech now integrated into leading network security provider

Bitdefender, a leading global cybersecurity technology company protecting 500 million users worldwide, have announced a licensing agreement for some of its proven anti-malware technologies with WatchGuard Technologies, Inc., a leader in advanced network security solutions. WatchGuard and Bitdefender now offer a fully integrated solution that provides award-winning anti-malware protection at the gateway – purpose-built for WatchGuard devices – that blocks known and unknown advanced threats including viruses, trojans, spyware, and ransomware, in real time.

With this new integration, WatchGuard’s small and midsize (SMB) and distributed enterprise customers benefit from a Bitdefender-enabled solution that offers enterprise-grade performance and efficacy, overall ease of implementation and policy setup, as well as a low rate of false positives.
