Fortinet has announced its participation at GISEC 2018 with the aim of driving the security transformation in organisations that are focused on digital transformation efforts

Fortinet, a global leader in broad, integrated and automated solutions, has announced its participation at GISEC 2018 with the aim of driving the security transformation in organisations that are focused on digital transformation efforts.

Alain Penel, Regional Vice President-Middle East, Fortinet, said: “2018 is lining up to be the year of digital transformation. Just about every organisation looking to remain viable in the growing digital marketplace has some sort of digital transformation in progress or one in the planning stages for this year.

“However, digital transformation without an equivalent security transformation is leaving organisations more vulnerable. Digital transformation is one of the key strategies organisations are utilising to achieve growth as well as associated business objectives.

“The process requires an equivalent security transformation and we are utilising our presence at GISEC 2018 to demonstrate how the Fortinet Security Fabric enables digital business and provides organisations with broad, integrated and automated protection from IoT to multi-cloud environments.”

At GISEC, Fortinet will be in Zabeel Hall 5 and 6 at stand C13 where it will hold customised demonstrations crucial to the security fabric and the security transformation process:

  • Fortinet introduces new security capabilities across the key solution areas within its security fabric architecture, including management and analytics, multi-cloud, network, advanced threat protection, unified access, web applications, email, IoT and endpoint security
  • Industry-leading secure SD-WAN functionality, threat detection services and expanded visibility from IoT to multi-cloud networks protect the vast attack surface resulting from digital transformation (DX) strategies
  • New automated lifecycle workflows, attack surface hardening services, with customised ranking and industry benchmarking, deliver the next level of NOC/SOC management
  • Business, network and entity level tagging functionality enable business precise segmentation, providing the critical building blocks for intent-based network security

At GISEC, Fortinet will also introduce the industry’s first purpose-built NOC-SOC solution that bridges workflows, analysis and automated response across operational and security processes.

The NOC-SOC approach to management enables enhanced security operations visibility with a new graphical security fabric topology view and extensions into both private and public cloud environments, with dynamic policy objects.
