Infoblox, a specialist in cloud networking and security services, has announced a partnership with Google Cloud that it hopes will deliver streamlined networking and security solutions for enterprise customers.
The partnership will simplify operations while boosting visibility, control and protection for organisations undergoing cloud transformation.
Infoblox and Google Cloud plan to provide two key solutions. Firstly, Infoblox Universal DDI will integrate with Google’s Cloud WAN, combining Google Cloud’s global network infrastructure with Infoblox’s DNS and DHCP services to optimise network performance and resilience.
Secondly, Google Cloud’s new DNS Armor will be powered by Infoblox, providing proactive detection of malicious activity targeting Google Cloud workloads.
The integration with Google’s Cloud WAN is intended to ensure maximum network performance and reliability. Similarly, the new Google Cloud DNS Armor, leveraging Infoblox’s technology, will offer advanced threat detection specifically for Google Cloud environments.
“The partnership with Google Cloud represents a strategic milestone in our commitment to innovation and mission to enhance cloud networking and security,” said Scott Harrell, President and CEO, Infoblox. “It’s a testament to the critical role that Protective DNS and DDI services play in managing and securing today’s hybrid multi-cloud environments.”
Muninder Singh Sambi, VP/GM, Networking, Google Cloud, said: “Enabling a resilient and secure network is a critical component of that vision – bridging networking and security to help ensure seamless connectivity and performance.”
