Optro has expanded into the UAE with a new regional hub in Dubai as organisations across the Middle East look to strengthen governance, risk and compliance capabilities amid growing adoption of Agentic AI.
Optro has announced its expansion into the UAE, establishing Dubai as its newest regional centre to support GRC teams and its growing customer base across the Middle East and North Africa.
The expansion comes as organisations across the region face growing operational, cybersecurity and regulatory complexities associated with the adoption of Agentic AI.

Optro said its platform uses Agentic AI to help organisations conduct continuous risk assessments, manage non-human access identities and automate compliance mapping against evolving UAE regulations.
The company said its expansion will also provide customers with localised support as regulatory frameworks covering Artificial Intelligence, data protection, cybersecurity and data sovereignty continue to develop.
“Enterprises and public sector organisations across the Middle East are setting a global benchmark for autonomous innovation,” said Raul Villar Jr., Chief Executive Officer at Optro. “However, deploying agentic AI at scale requires a corresponding evolution in control and assurance. By establishing our regional hub in the UAE, we are delivering the localised presence, partner network, and agentic GRC tools required to help organisations govern autonomous operations, protect data sovereignty, and turn regulatory compliance into a competitive advantage.”
Fady Nader, EY MENA Risk Consulting Partner, said: “Internal Audit and GRC functions are playing an increasingly strategic role in helping organisations strengthen resilience, enhance governance, and respond to emerging risks.”
Optro’s UAE expansion follows the launch of its Asia-Pacific regional hub in Singapore earlier this year and its acquisition of AI-native autonomous controls testing company Midship.
