Kyndryl joins Mexico’s National Accelerated Training Programme to strengthen digital talent and build nationwide cybersecurity capability.
Kyndryl, a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise technology services, has announced its participation in the Government of Mexico’s National Accelerated Training Programme of the National Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.
The programme was developed through the public research centre INFOTEC and the Digital Transformation and Telecommunications Agency.
Through its participation, Kyndryl aims to contribute to Mexico’s digital capabilities and help prepare a new generation of professionals ready to drive innovation and cybersecurity across all sectors of the economy.
As part of this effort, Kyndryl will train 1,000 people in cybersecurity fundamentals through an intensive 20-week programme that combines in-person, online and pre-recorded sessions. In addition, Kyndryl technical experts will provide mentorship, guidance and co-facilitation of the modules alongside INFOTEC instructors.
“At Kyndryl, we believe cybersecurity is the foundation of digital trust and innovation. It’s not just a technology issue — it’s a societal imperative,” said Carlos Marcel, Managing Director of Kyndryl Mexico. “This collaboration with the Government of Mexico reflects our shared commitment to developing digital talent and strengthening the country’s ability to innovate securely.”
The recently published Kyndryl Readiness Report 2025 shows that Mexico-based organisations are increasingly prioritising cybersecurity and resilience as part of their digital growth strategies. Although on average only 34% say they are fully prepared for different types of risk, Mexico’s organisations are showing an encouraging turning point: greater awareness of its vulnerability and a growing willingness to implement structural changes.
Through this partnership, Kyndryl is advancing a public–private collaboration model that promotes knowledge transfer, digital employability and technological empowerment. By investing in cybersecurity skill development, Kyndryl will help enable the Government of Mexico to turn technical complexity into a competitive advantage.
